Update 0.8.3 will arrive tomorrow on World of Warships and will bring with it the start of a new Soviet cycle, a new friendly competition “Victory”, early access to Soviet battleships, a collaboration with Azur Lane and much more.
Starting the series of Soviet updates is the Victory competition. Starting Friday 26th April, this competition will see two teams fight each day for valuable rewards and places on the Wall of Valor. Obtaining good results in battles will reward players with allowance tokens that can be exchanged for special camos, special permanent camos and containers. Access to this competition is only available to players who have played at least 70 battles in any available mode.
The Clan Base will gain a new building called the Treasury, this structure is free of charge and the clan will receive 2000 coal for constructing it. This structure houses all the clan’s Steel, Coal, and doubloons and all members can view the amounts, however, only the Clan Commander and Deputy Commanders can distribute them among players.
Update 0.8.3 sees the continuation of the collaboration with the popular Azur Lane mobile game. There’s lots of themed additions to World of Warships, including special commanders Neptune, Prinz Eugen, Dunkerque, Atago, Azuma, Montpelier, Yukikaze and Kaga, plus two special ships with unique camos.
For those looking for a new Tier IX Soviet ship, the update will introduce the Soviet destroyer, Neustrashimy. This vessel is available for 20,500 Steel and is armed with four 130 mm guns mounted in two turrets and two quintuple torpedo tubes. The ship will also have high survivability due to a large HP pool and low detectability range by sea.
