Ahoy there, the latest update for Astragon Entertainment’s Fishing: Barents Sea is now available on Steam. Update 1.1.2 addresses many of the bugs and issues that became tangled in the fishing net after update 1.1 was released late last month.
Update 1.1 included a range of technical and visual improvements plus new features such as a simplified gutting process and binoculars.
The changes with update 1.1.2 include:
- Added engine room on Hermes
- Fixed rising trawl doors when trawling with Hermes
- Fixed issue with sonar sometimes being red
- Fixed repair slot on Follabuen
- Fixed several issues with fatal error
- Fixed issue with M being held down to long, causing game to freeze
- Fixed watermesh on Lunar Bow
- Fixed open water detection
- Fixed outline on fish finder and Scanmar monitor
- Fixed interactions through walls on several boats
- Fixed issue with line set tutorial part 3
- Fixed issue with fish falling at floor when using net hauling
- Fixed issue with water in engine room on Vibeke Cathrin
- Updated antennas on Hermes

The new update 1.1 of Fishing: Barents Sea is now available for download on Steam™! The update adopts among a wide range of technical and visual improvements also new features such as an inventory with room for knives, hooks and binoculars for your character and a simplified gutting process into the game. In addition, some of the ship models such as Lunar Bow or the Hermes trawler were reworked and equipped with accessible interiors as well as rotatable captain chairs.
