Update 9.20.1 arrives on World of Tanks today and with it comes changes across the British, American and Chinese lines, an overhaul of Personal Missions, improved rewards and Epic Medals and Battle Heroes achievements now provide Bonds. As always, a video is available below to talk tank commanders through the changes. Watch it below…
With this latest update the British Tank Destroyers from the FV4005 Stage II line have been revised so as to provide a more accessible experience. British medium tanks from Tiers VIII–X have received stronger front armor to enhance their role as mid-range support vehicles. The British aren’t the only nation who have had changes made to tanks, American Tier X light tanks also see a boost in stats with an increased firepower and Chinese premium tanks have had some tweaks made after a decline in use. After feedback from Common Tests the combat parameters of Super Conqueror, Conqueror, FV4005 Stage II, FV4004 Conway, and FV4202 (P) have been rebalanced.
The latest update makes revisions to Personal Missions by adjusting certain things such as replacing Commendations with Orders and Components to streamline the first campaign. Navigation has also been improved by the introduction of a revamped mission interface.
Players earning Epic Medals and Battle Heroes achievements in Tier IV–X vehicles will now earn a set number of Bonds giving that extra motivation to players who haven’t yet reached Tier X.
Update 9.20.1 will be released today so you could expect some server downtime while changes are made. For a full list of the update notes visit here.
