Created by Gerry Finley-Day and Dave Gibbons, Rogue Trooper is a sci-fi strip which launches in 2000 AD in 1981 and follows the adventures Rogue, a “Genetic Infantryman” or GI – a genetically-created super soldier – on Nu-Earth, a planet which has been poisoned through biological and chemical warfare between the Southers and the fascist Norts.
Original story follows…
Moon and Warcraft filmmaker Duncan Jones has taken to social media to reveal that he is set to announce his next project in the coming days, and that said project will be a comic book movie.
A little nervous about this, but hell, nervous is where the fun is!
I’m going to be making a comic book movie next! A pretty special one.
That’s the initial tease…Second tease to come in a few days!

Given the timing, it’s possible that the announcement could be made during this week’s San Diego Comic-Con International, which may potentially point towards a DC project (Marvel Studios is sitting out Comic-Con this year, and 20th Century Fox is in the process of selling off its film and TV assets). Of course, Jones may not be referring to a superhero movie at all, so we’ll just have to wait and see…
