UPDATE: Following yesterday’s tweet from Thomas Turgoose stating that “This Is England ’92 confirmed”, director Shane Meadows has taken to Twitter himself to debunk the claim, with Turgoose subsequently claiming that his friends had got their hands on his phone and tweeted out the fake news.
Here's an announcement for you…. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

Starting life as the acclaimed 2006 movie, This Is England first made the jump to the small screen for the 2010 miniseries This Is England ’86, which was followed by This Is England ’88 in 2011 and This Is England ’90 in 2015.
While This Is England ’90 had been intended as the final chapter of the saga upon its release back in 2015, Meadows did suggest earlier this year that he was considering bookending the series with another film set at the millennium and titled This Is England ’00. However, it seems he’s now decided to take the opportunity to fill in a few of the gaps beforehand.
