The V/H/S franchise is adding another installment to its long-running found footage horror franchise, taking viewers back to the 1980s.
Horror streaming service Shudder dropped the first teaser trailer for V/H/S/85, a new 80s-set installment to the franchise that began with V/H/S in 2012. With over a decade of entries, the series is bringing some heavy hitters regarding filmmakers.
The directorial names for this new entry are iconic in modern-day horror, including David Bruckner (Hellraiser, The Night House), Scott Derrickson (The Black Phone, Sinister), Gigi Saul Guerrero (Bingo Hell, Culture Shock), Natasha Kermani (Lucky), and Mike Nelson (Wrong Turn).
Little is known about the plots of the stories, but the teaser gives us a glimpse at some equally disturbing and entertaining horror works. We got classic goths, slasher throwbacks, and a scope more enormous than we’ve seen in any previous V/H/S movie. Check out the terrifying trailer below…
