Riddick: Furya has begun its filming, with Vin Diesel sharing the first look at the production.
For the fourth outing as the titular character, Diesel returns to the world he’s helped build through original films and even video game tie-ins.
The actor took to social media to share photos to celebrate the first week of shooting. The first look is the character in costume against a desert setting, while the second reveals some of the vehicles used in the film.

Little is known about Riddick: Furya, but we know that Riddick “finally returns to his home world, a place he barely remembers, and one he fears might be left in ruins. But there, he finds other Furyans fighting for their existence against a new monster. And some of these Furyans are more like Riddick than he could have ever imagined.”
If you don’t remember, Diesel played the character in 2000’s Pitch Black, its spin-off/sequel The Chronicles of Riddick from 2004, and its 2013 follow-up Riddick.
David Twohy returns to direct Riddick: Furya after directing every previous installment. The film has no set release date.
