Vin Diesel has signed on to headline his “next big, signature franchise” in the action-comedy Muscle, which is being produced by STX Films.
“I’ve known Vin for more than a decade after working closely with him on the Fast and Furious franchise and I’m excited for him to return to this genre. Muscle is the perfect blend of action and comedy that his millions of devoted fans around the world have come to love him for, and we believe has the potential to become his next big, signature franchise.”

Plot details for Muscle are being kept under wraps, but Diesel is producing the movie alongside Samantha Vincent, Reginald Hudlin and Byron Phillips.
It’s unclear at present when production will get underway, but Diesel has a rather busy schedule ahead of him with Bloodshot shooting this summer, followed by a fourth xXx movie later in the year and Fast & Furious 9 in early 2019.
