Last year it was announced that Marvel Studios is working on Vision Quest, a WandaVision spinoff series focusing on Vision’s journey of self-discovery, and now comes word that the Disney+ project has enlisted two veteran Marvel writers.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed that Megan McDonnell and Peter Cameron are listed by the Writers Guild of America (WGA) as part of the Vision Quest writers’ room. Both writers are known for their work for Marvel Studios, serving as writers on both WandaVision and the upcoming Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
Outside of the Wanda-based projects, McDonnell penned this year’s The Marvels, while Cameron crafted some of Marvel’s strangest works in the Disney+ series Moon Knight and the Halloween special Werewolf By Night. As Marvel looks to readjust itself, hoping to reclaim its former glory, staying with tried and true writers feels like a safety net, especially regarding a project like Vision Quest.
Little is known about the planned series, and all that has come out so far is that the series will focus on Vision “trying to regain his memory and humanity.” There’s been no word if Elizabeth Olsen will return to the series or if it will even follow any of the Vision Quest stories in the comics.

The WGA listing also notes the series is set for the 2024-2025 TV season, which will place it a full year after the WandaVision spinoff, Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
