Warframe fans on Xbox One and Playstation 4 can now take on a new series of battles in the first major update to Fortuna, Fortuna: The Profit-Taker. First released on PC last Autumn, this expansion will feature fresh new missions, deeper lore and gigantic robotic spiders called Raknoids. Watch the expansion launch trailer below…
In Fortuna: The Profit-Taker expansion, players will take on new new missions in order to gain the Archwing’s biggest guns and use these to destroy the mechanical spider-boss, the Profit-Taker. There’s a new Warframe that can be used to wipe out the Corvus Army, new animal species to discover (and trap) and dozens of new items, including weapons, customisations and enhancements to collect.
New features in this expansion include:
- Archguns, previously only available in space but now capable of bringing a whole new level of ballistic power while on foot.
- New Warframe Baruuk – the 38th Warframe. Baruuk comes with the following abilities: Elude: Dodge all incoming projectiles, but only while not attacking. Lull: A calming wave slows enemies until they fall into a slumber and enemies awakened by damage will be confused and disoriented. Subdue: Summon orbiting daggers to seek out enemy guns, destroying them with small explosions. This can be combined with Untouchable to double the range. Serene Storm:Commands the Desert Wind to deliver powerful radial strikes with his fists and feet.
- Save three new animal species in the Vallis before the Corpus get to them first. Save these and earn new Floofs and a Conservation Badge.
- Visit Little Duck in Fortuna to gain new Operator Amps and Arcanes. Plus there are a whole new set of weapons, mods, and customisations, including shotguns, whips, revolvers, shields, Syandana, alt helms and more.
Fortuna: The Profit-Taker is a free update and is available now.
