RedDeer Games and Phosphor Studios have announced that their fast paced, aerial shooter Warhammer 40,000: Dakka Squadron will be coming to Nintendo Switch. Although a release date is not yet known there is a brand new trailer (see below) showing some of the action and excitement to come.
The Warhammer 40,000 universe is one of darkness and constant war. Humanity, alien races and those touched by the demonic powers of Chaos are always prepared for battle and those who enjoy to battle the most are the Orks. There’s nothing they like better than a good scrap, especially if it involves a big machine, lots of dakka and the chance to choose who to lead the Waaagh!
Warhammer 40,000: Dakka Squadron puts players in the pilot seat of a number of different Ork aircraft and fly over alien worlds blasting away at enemies in the air and on the ground with their Supa-Shootas and bombs etc.
Fly Dakkajets, Burna-Bommas and Blitza-Bommas, upgrade and equip them with an array of guns, bombs and missiles while learning special manoeuvers.
“I am incredibly excited that we have been given the chance to bring this exceptional game from the world of Warhammer into the hands of Nintendo Switch players. We have a lot of Warhammer 40,000 fans in the company, and we are thrilled to add our contribution to the development of this universe” said Bartłomiej Kossakowski, COO, RedDeer.Games.
