PLAION and developer Caged Element have announced that their free-to-play multiplayer combat racer Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks will be released on Early Access on 6th August for its inaugural season. Gamers can check out those crazy Warhammer 40,000 Kult of Speed loving Orks in the new trailer below…
In the grim war-torn galaxy of the 41st millennium there are Orks, a bloodthirsty greenskin race that love all out war and nothing else, then there are the strange ones belonging to the Kult of Speed. Known as Speed Freeks to the others, these Orks are addicted to tinkering with their vehicles to make them the fastest and most powerful they can and then going battle-racing to prove who is “da fastest and meanest Orks in all da galaxy”.
Players will be able to choose between different game modes that are full of the type of brutality we’d expect of Orks, such as Deff Rally in which 16 players race to capture points and fight to control them, and Kill Konvoy where teams race alongside the formidable Stompas and fight the enemies to ensure their Stompa crosses the finishing line first.
To take part in the Early Access on Steam, players will need to set up or log into a PROS online account. More details on this will be able to be found on the game’s Steam page.
Get ready to rev your engines for the arrival of Warhammer 40,000: Speed Freeks on 6th August on Steam Early Access.
