Warner Bros. developing six different Wonder Woman scripts?

December 18, 2014 by Gary Collinson

Earlier this month it was revealed that Jason Fuchs (Ice Age: Continental Drift, Pan) has signed on to pen the script for Gal Gadot’s solo debut in 2017’s Wonder Woman, and now a rumour is doing the rounds on Twitter suggesting that he may not be the only screenwriter tackling the Amazon Princess.

According to sciptwriter Arash Amel (Grace of Monaco), he’s heard that the studio has actually hired six writers to simultaneously develop six different scripts for Wonder Woman. If true, then presumably Warner Bros. and director Michelle MacLaren will then select their favourite, or create a Frankenstein’s Monster-style mash-up of the different versions…

Wonder Woman is set for release on June 23rd, 2017, while Gadot will make her debut as Diana in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
