Now that Patty Jenkins is officially on board to direct Wonder Woman 2, Warner Bros. is moving full steam ahead with development on the sequel to this year’s blockbuster superhero origin story.
According to THR, Dave Callaham (The Expendables, Godzilla) has come on board to work on the screenplay with Jenkins and Geoff Johns, who have been working on the story for the past few months. Callaham had been working with Jenkins on an adaptation of the Joe Nesbo novel Jackpot, which Jenkins was going to direct as her next film before signing her deal for Wonder Woman 2.
