While fans worldwide are celebrating the critical and audience reception of Zack Snyder’s Justice League, it seems like WarnerMedia sees it as a farewell party.
In an interview with Variety, WarnerMedia’s Studios CEO Ann Sarnoff spoke about the Snyder Cut. When asked about the fan movement that got it released, she said they were happy to “allow the fans to see all four-hours of Zack’s vision.”
When pressed about the growing movement to Restore The SnyderVerse, a hashtag that has picked up steam over the past few days, Sarnoff put a final nail in that coffin, stating: “With that comes the completion of his trilogy, says the CEO. “We’re very happy we’ve done this, but we’re very excited about the plans we have for all the multi-dimensional DC characters that are being developed right now.”
“We want different voices in the mix,” said Sarnoff as she spoke about moving away from a singular vision. “For certain fans that want singular voices, they may be disappointed, but we would ask them to be patient and see what we’ve got in store because perhaps the newer voices in the mix will have just as compelling stories to tell… On balance, you, of course, want to listen to your fans, but we do want to stay true to our vision and our mission for DC and build that out.”
Fans have questioned whether Sarnoff fully understands the “RestoreTheSnyderVerse” issue as she spoke about moving away from a singular vision. However, the calls aren’t for Snyder to be the solo vision for the DCEU, but rather branch of the “multi-dimensional DC characters” that Sarnoff and WarnerMedia seemingly want. His film even sets up some multiverse-like mayhem, which fits into this plan for different voices.

However, as of the time of reporting, this seems to be the end of the SnyderVerse. Warner Bros and the DCEU will move forward with new projects, although some of these films will include characters from Snyder’s universe like Ezra Miller’s Flash in his upcoming solo movie, a third Wonder Woman film with Gal Gadot and Aquaman 2 with Jason Momoa.
