Tokyo based developer Runpath Inc has announced the Early Access release of their new open-world survival crafting game, Undefined Survivors, on Steam. This new survival game will take players to a vast ocean world and challenge them to survive and prosper. Watch the trailer below…
Undefined Survivors takes players to a world dominated by a vast ocean, where the remains of civilisation lay beneath the waves and are home to coral reefs and marine animals. However, this ocean world hides harsh challenges, including sharks and other giant creatures, hunger, thirst and shelter. Players will need to use every means at their disposal to survive in this mysterious world.
Players take the role of a survivor who wakes up on the shoreline to an island with no memory of who they are or where they’ve come from. The island has no sign of human life but is teeming with dangerous wildlife and beyond its coastline are the waves and ancient structures in its depths. It is up to players to secure a source of food, fresh water and a place to call home until they can regain their memories.
Players will be able to venture under the waves and even build underwater bases, but in order to explore the undersea kingdom for longer it will be necessary to craft oxygen tanks. Using these oxygen tanks may also help in unlocking some of the memories of their character.
For those who have played the free demo currently available on Steam, the Early Access release is four times larger and comes with a roughly five times longer play time.
Undefined Survivors is available on Early Access from Steam now.
