Wayne Bastrup joins Tom Hanks in Clint Eastwood’s Sully

Wayne Bastrup has joined Tom Hanks and Aaron Eckhart in the Clint Eastwood directed ‘Miracle on the Hudson’ movie Sully, which is currently filming in New York and is based on the true events that took place in 2009 on US Airways Flight 1549.

Bastrup, who appeared in this year’s Terminator Genisys, will play Brian Kelly, a deckhand of Irish descent on Flight 1549 who heroically rescued 19 passengers including Hank’s character Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger.

Also featuring in the cast of Sully are Laura Linney, Holt McCallany and Jerry Ferrara.
