During an appearance on NBC’s TODAY to promote her new movie Nocturnal Animals, actress Isla Fisher let some news slip about a possible sequel to one of her most famous movies, 2005’s hit Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson-led comedy Wedding Crashers.
While being interviewed by three of the show’s hosts, Fisher was asked a question regarding the status of Wedding Crashers 2, to which she replied: “The first I heard of it, I bumped into Vince Vaughn at a party and he said that apparently we’re going to be making a sequel. So I’m really excited to see what happened to Gloria.”

Fisher quickly clarified that a sequel is in no way a done deal at the moment; the actress then said, “I shouldn’t really announce it on morning television. But apparently there’s some talk of it, which is fun.”
One would assume that most of the cast from the original movie, which includes Christopher Walken, Rachel McAdams and Bradley Cooper, would come back for a second installment. Who knows, maybe even Will Ferrell will pop in to make another hilarious cameo as funeral crasher Chazz Reinhold. He appeared in Vaughn and Wilson’s most recent collaboration, The Internship, so him reprising his role definitely isn’t outside the realm of possibility.
In 2005, Wedding Crashers brought in a massive $285 million worldwide on a $40 million budget. David Dobkin directed the film, while Steve Faber and Bob Fisher wrote the script.
