Will Smith is ready for another round of fighting vampire-like creatures, and he’s happy to bring along Michael B. Jordan for the ride.
Smith is preparing for I Am Legend 2, which will retcon the theatrical ending and see the return of Smith and director Francis Lawerence. Speaking at the Rea Sea Film Festival, Smith spills some scant details.
Smith tells the audience: “I have a call with Michael B. Jordan tomorrow. The script just came in… I’m probably giving away too much information. We’re going with the mythology of the DVD version where my character lived. I can’t tell you anymore, but Michael B. Jordan is in, and we’re doing it.”
Smith has not appeared in a massive mainstream outing since his infamous Oscars moment. He’ll find his footing again by returning to I Am Legend and starring in a new Bad Boys movie.
