Patty Jenkins, the director of Wonder Woman 1984, says that the film is finished and all she is doing now is fiddling.
The first trailer for DC’s Wonder Woman 1984 has just been released, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect from the hero’s second solo outing. The film doesn’t come out until June 2020 but how far along is the project?
Well, according to director Patty Jenkins, things have gone very smoothly and the film is actually complete. Speaking to Collider, the director says now she has time to just tinker with things:
“We’re done. The movie is done. Because it doesn’t come out for a few months, for the first time in my career, which is so great, I was able to say, ‘Hey guys, can you let me fiddle with this? Can you let me fiddle with that?’ So I’m fiddling but the movie is technically done.”
