Wargaming has announced two big updates for their World of Warships titles on PC, consoles and mobiles. These new March updates bring new Experimental ships and Soviet subs to PC gamers and Dutch Cruisers and the return of Azur Lane for World of Warships: Legends players. Watch the new update trailers below…
Players keen to take the helm of new vessels can get their hands on three new Experimental ships as the Tier VIII French heavy cruiser Metz, Tier IX Soviet cruiser Vyazma and Tier X American battleship Oregon sail into view. These new ships are designed for veteran players with each ship starting the battle with a fraction of its hit point pool and slowly recovering during combat. Those brave enough to try these ships out in battle can attempt a special mission chain and earn Coal.
Operations with Flagships also makes a return, albeit with a few changes. Vessels come with increased health and the ability to buff the ships they are leading into battle and random flagships with a variety of effects and vulnerabilities. Players will be able to increase their chances of survival by using Classified Documents to give them a boost.
Finally, PC commanders will be able to try out the new Soviet Submarines as they join Early Access. The Tier VI Soviet submarine S-1, Tier VIII Soviet submarine L-20 and Tier X Soviet submarine K-1 are all now available. Each of these subs are equipped with powerful and fast torpedoes, long-ranged Submarine Surveillance and Fast Damage Control Team.
The March update for World of Warships: Legends sees the return of Wave 6 of Azur Lane. This event will run until 7th April and players will be able to expand their fleet with five new ships, including the AL Richelieu and the AL Asashio, as well as a number of commanders. There are also new flags, Containers and a special mission chain available with rewards of camouflages and more.
Dutch Cruisers arrive in Early Access with new ships ranging from Tiers I-VIII and Legendary Tier making an appearance. Joining these is the new Commander, Henk Pröpper. These new vessels can be gained from special Dutch Cruiser Crates, in the Store and Tech Tree or by spending the limited-time in-game currency Guldens. There’s also a Dutch Legacy Calendar event to try with the ultimate reward being Dutch Commander, Johan Furstner.
Finally for the World of Warships: Legends update is the arrival of the Rust’n’Rumble II event. This brings a new battle experience with unique weapons and mechanics for players to try and other new content as the mode progresses.
Log in to World of Warships: Legends and World of Warships and enjoy what the new updates have to offer.
