It looks like Scrubs star Zach Braff is heading back to the small screen, with Deadline reporting that ABC has placed a pilot order for the single-camera comedy Start Up.
Start Up will explore “all the things that happen — the good, the bad and the ugly — when a guy (Braff) in his mid-30s with a wife and two kids makes the crazy decision to quit his good job and dive into the brave new world of starting a business.”
The pilot is being directed by Braff from a script by Scrubs co-executive producer Matt Tarses, and is based upon Alex Blumberg’s Start Up podcast.
