Zack Snyder, director of multiple DC movies, has revealed what story he would want to make in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Audiences are eagerly anticipating Zack Snyder’s cut of DC’s Justice League but is there a Marvel property that the director has his eye on? One that could draw him to the MCU perhaps?
Well, the answer is yes as Snyder has revealed to Comic Book Debate that Frank Miller’s Elektra Lives Again is something he would love to bring to life: “I would choose Elektra Lives Again. Do you know that Frank Miller comic book? It’s a graphic novel about Elektra. Daredevil is having these dreams about Elektra coming back to life, and it’s really cool and weird … it’s just cool, and beautiful. That’s what I would do. No one cares, but that’s what I would do.”
Daredevil has, of course, been a part of the MCU with the Netflix show of the same name, as has Elektra, but with the show now being cancelled, it’s surely only a matter of time before these characters get introduced once again. In fact, if (unconfirmed and unsubstantiated) rumours are to be believed, Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock is set to make his return with a role alongside Tom Holland’s web-slinger in Spider-Man 3.
