Zoë Kravitz is getting back in the directing chair and will reunite with her The Batman co-star to bring the film to life.
Per Deadline, Kravitz will helm How To Save A Marriage from Sony Pictures, with Robert Pattinson producing the project.
The script comes from Ross Evans. Pattinson is producing with partner Brighton McCloskey via Icki Eneo Arlo, while Geoff Shaevitz and Evan Silverberg are producing via Entertainment 360. Evans will also executive produce.
According to Deadline, Sony is “high on the project” and was aggressive in pursuing it when the project entered the market last year. This would mark the first significant project for scribe Evans and continue Kravitz’s directing after her directorial debut with Blink Twice. Released last summer, the thriller starred Naomi Ackie and Channing Tatum, earning strong reviews.
How to Save a Marriage is still in early development, and plot details are being kept under wraps, but the film is reportedly taking on edgy undertones similar to Blink Twice.
Zoë Kravitz has not given up acting, either, as she’s set to star opposite Austin Butler in the Darren Aronofsky thriller Caught Stealing this fall.
